Hauts-de-France welcomes Ryberg
Ryberg, a leading developer of disinfection robots, was invited by The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) to participate in a Dutch trade mission to Hauts-de-France. The trade mission focused on life sciences and health, specifically innovative medical techniques to improve healthcare and make it more efficient.
During the mission, Ryberg had the opportunity to showcase its cutting-edge disinfection robots to the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, potential customers and partners in France. The company was able to engage in discussions with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including hospital administrators, healthcare providers, distributors and government officials.
"We were honored to be invited by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to participate in this important trade mission," said Nikolaj van Veen, CCO of Ryberg. "Our disinfection robots have the potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry. We are excited to explore opportunities to bring our technology to France and make a positive impact on public health."
Ryberg's disinfection robots use ultraviolet light to disinfect surfaces and are designed to operate autonomously, making them ideal for use in healthcare settings. The robots have already been successfully deployed in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
The Hauts-de-France region is already well known to Dutch companies.
- Hauts-de-France is a nearby region that explicitly focuses on cooperation with the Netherlands.
- The region is home to 6 million people, making it the third largest region in France.
- The region is located 55 kilometers from the Netherlands. The capital Lille is only 1.5 hours drive from the Dutch border.
- 20% of Dutch investments in France go to this region; that is twice as much as to the Paris region.
- For many Dutch companies, the region has proved to be a springboard for the rest of France.
The Dutch trade mission to Hauts-de-France was part of a broader effort to strengthen economic ties between the Netherlands and France. Ryberg's participation in the mission highlights the company's commitment to expanding its business and collaborating with partners in the healthcare industry to improve public health.
